Major Release of Screen9 OVP Console

“The new Console offers our best user interface ever.” Says Robert Risberg, CEO and co-founder of Screen9. “It’s the third generation of Console and it has been written from the ground up, with a focus on even better UX/usability as well as effective workflows for managing both Live and On Demand video. It is, of course, fully responsive and works on any device.”

Drag and Drop functionality is one of the many new features that speed workflow; along with bulk action toolbar, iOS integration, smart filters and extended instant search; all enabling easier content management of video data, whether you manage thousands of videos or a handful.

Workflow speed is further enhanced through seamless authentication with CMS systems – making integration both simple and fast. Together with a complete modern and intuitive design with several wizards for setting up special video events, the release will change the way editors and publishers work with video.

Future rapid development is supported by the use of a new framework for Console. This reduces development time by a factor of five compared with the previous Console.

“Releasing new features will now happen at a faster rate thanks to both the new technical platform and the new hires within the technical department. This will have a substantial and positive impact on our customers’ experience of Screen9’s OVP”, says Robert Risberg.

The new Console has, during October, been rolled out to a select group of beta testers.
